- Affiliates: We may share Personal Data with our affiliates, meaning companies that control ownvia, are controlled by ownvia or are under common control with ownvia. Our affiliates may use the Personal Data we share in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- Other users and third parties with whom you share information: Certain features allow you to display or share information with other users or third parties. For example, you can share ownvia conversations with other users through shared links or send information to third-party applications through custom actions. Make sure you trust every user or third party with whom you share information.
4. Your rights
Depending on their location, individuals may have certain legal rights regarding their Personal Data.
To the extent provided by law and subject to applicable exceptions, individuals may have the following privacy rights regarding their Personal Data:
- The right to receive information about our processing of your Personal Data, including the specific Personal Data we have collected from you;
- The right to request deletion of your Personal Data;
- The right to correct your Personal Data; and
- The right to be free from discrimination when exercising your privacy rights.
We do not "sell" Personal Data and do not "share" Personal Data for cross-context behavioural advertising (as these terms are defined in applicable local law). We also do not process sensitive Personal Data to infer characteristics of a consumer.
5. Verification
To protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access, alteration or deletion, we may require you to verify your login details before you can submit a request to access, correct or delete Personal Data. If you do not have an account with us or if we suspect fraudulent or malicious activity, we may ask you to provide additional personal information and proof of residence for verification. If we cannot verify your identity, we may be unable to fulfil your request.
6. Children
Our Service is not intended for children under 13 or for individuals who are still considered minors. ownvia does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Data, please notify us immediately. We will investigate this report and, if necessary, remove the relevant data from our systems. Individuals who are 13 or older but have not yet reached the age of majority (generally 18, depending on local law) need the consent of their parents or legal guardians to use our Services.
7. Links to other websites
Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated or controlled by ownvia, including social media services ("Third-Party Websites"). Information you share with Third-Party Websites is subject to the specific privacy policies and terms of use of those Third-Party Websites, not this Privacy Policy. Providing these links does not mean that we endorse the websites or have reviewed their content. We recommend contacting the relevant Third-Party Websites directly for information about their privacy practices and policies.
8. Security and retention
We take commercially reasonable technical, administrative and organisational measures to protect Personal Data, both online and offline, from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. However, no internet or email transmission is ever completely secure or error-free. In particular, emails sent to or from us may not be secure. You should therefore exercise particular care when deciding what information to send us through the Service or by email. In addition, we are not responsible for the circumvention of privacy settings or security measures in the Service or on Third-Party Websites.
We retain your Personal Data only for as long as we need it to provide our Service to you or for other legitimate business purposes, such as resolving disputes, security purposes or complying with our legal obligations. How long we retain Personal Data depends on a number of factors, such as the amount, nature and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, our purpose for processing the information and any legal requirements.

By using our Service, you understand and acknowledge that your Personal Data is stored at our facilities and on our servers and may be shared with our service providers and affiliates in other jurisdictions.
